Version 1.2, for Visual C++
EikonWizard is a Visual C++ 5 (6 should also work) compatible Wizard for creating basic Eikon applications. The application is ready to compile and run, complete with help file, about box and .pkg script for installing to the target machine. The application does not have support for multiple documents, although this is easily added later.
Be sure to follow the special instructions at the end of the wizard to get a working project. These are basically to close the workspace and run a batch file. This two-stage approach ensures your project is identical to one created by whatever release of the EPOC SDK you are using.
Copy the two files contained in EikonWizard12.zip:
to your Visual Studio templates directory, usually:
When you next use File:New, the projects tab should contain an entry for 'EPOC Eikon Wizard'. Select this and proceed as normal when creating projects. Be sure to follow the special instructions (basically to close the workspace and run a batch file) at the end of the wizard to get a working project.
For Visual C++ 6.0, the correct directory to install to is (by default):
\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\MSDev98\Template
